The EDPLIT Universal Concealed Access Hatch is a versatile and customizable solution designed to provide easy access to concealed areas in walls and partitions. Perfect size 300×200 mm (can work up to 400×500 mm). The set includes components required for installation.

The kit can be supplied with or without consumables for tile cutting.

Installation and adjustment

You no longer need to worry about standard manufacturer sizes fitting your specific layout. The Edplit system allows you to create a custom access void of any dimension—from a discreet 70 x 70 mm up to 400 x 500 mm—tailored exactly to your project requirements.

Tile cut-outs can be performed manually using a tile engraver or via precision water-jet cutting. While manual cutting is efficient for standard installs, water-jet cutting is ideal for premium tiles or natural stone to ensure a flawless, architectural finish.

The system blends seamlessly with ceramic, porcelain, or natural stone surfaces and is compatible with tile thickness up to 12 mm.

Safety & Best Practice

At Yaromaister, we advocate for the highest standards of safety on every project. When performing tile cut-outs or using the included core drill bit:

  • PPE: Always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, including safety goggles and a high-efficiency dust mask (FFP3 rated).

  • Dust Control: We recommend wet-cutting where possible or using a dedicated vacuum extraction system to minimize airborne silica dust.

  • Handling: Ensure all power tools are handled by competent individuals in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
